2007 Astra 1.6 Design

I was in the market for a replacement for the trusty Focus and certainly not looking for (another) Astra, but anyone who knows me well will say I can’t overlook a bargain Vauxhall.  This was very much a ‘chance’ purchase as it was supposed to go for scrap (with no MOT) and was a non-runner after being parked up for a little over a year.  It’s rust free, pretty much free of marks and dings, low mileage and a nice spec, with half leather, front and rear electric windows, automatic lights and rain-sensing wipers.  What’s not to like?

There’s a bit of a journal here, starting with a few photos of it where I recovered it from and then a job list that details the work I’ve needed (or chosen) to do.
